Helping schools build comprehensive digital wellness and literacy programming.
Trusted support for schools
Every vendor selling into schools says they have the answer: an app, a curriculum, a speaker with a TED talk. I’ve spent nearly two decades in the Big Tech ecosystem, so I know exactly which of those claims hold up and which are just good marketing. Nobody’s paying me to tell you otherwise. I’ve worked with major public districts and well-known private schools, so what I bring you is what’s actually worked in classrooms like yours — not just a guess. And because I have presented to thousands of parents through my nonprofit work, I know what they’re really thinking, long before it becomes a complaint in your inbox.
I will work with you to:
☑ Assess what digital wellness and literacy programming your school actually needs
☑ Recommend curriculum, programs, and speakers that fit
☑ Build a comprehensive plan to implement it
☑ Advise on policy, from phone-free initiatives to how to communicate changes to parents

This issue is complicated; the information is conflicting. I can help you cut through the noise and create a plan that is customized to your specific community’s needs. I approach my work like I did running a creative agency, where I put together all the pieces for you and make sure it’s cohesive and fits the principles of your school. There are so many curricula and speakers out there – I look at my job as a curator to help you achieve your goals and build a program that is effective and comprehensive.

Through my work co-founding and running DopaMind, I’ve partnered with major public school districts and renowned private schools across the U.S., reaching more than 45,000 students and families. I’ve personally delivered all of DopaMind’s professional development sessions and have presented to thousands of parents, educators, and students.

We’ll have a clarity session where I will interview key school leaders to help me understand the philosophy of your school and what’s important to your community. From there, we’ll assess what programs you are currently using, whether you’ve been DIYing it or using existing curriculum. We will create a comprehensive plan including events and in-class presentations for students, parents, and staff. I will get you access to the best experts in this space and create a custom plan, strategically rolled out, that fits your school’s schedule and availability. I will make sure it’s executed within a pre-determined overall budget.

While there is no one size fits all or package approach here, I can help you by the hour if you just need to run things by me, or I can budget my involvement for a full program throughout the school year ahead of time so there are no surprises. We can determine a budget you are comfortable with and work backwards from there, including my fees and any speaker or curriculum fees. Because of my extensive network in this digital wellness space and my relationships with leading experts, I can get you access to the thought leaders in this space for reasonable rates.

No! Everything I recommend comes from my extensive experience building programs via my nonprofit, DopaMind. While this is a program I’ll always recommend, I don’t get any type of referral fee or kickback. And if anyone has ever done nonprofit work, you’ll know it’s a labor of love and we don’t do it for the money. Even DopaMind does not offer everything you may need to have a comprehensive program, so it’s just one of the resources I would recommend. I’ve staffed panels with experts from other nonprofits, tech leaders, and speakers who work all over the US and it’s not about competition. This is why I charge a fee for my time, so I don’t have to be swayed by other nonprofits or companies I may recommend.

Never. While I subscribe to digital minimalism in education and a less is more, later is better approach, I’m fully supportive of purposeful, measurable tech use, especially when it’s in the teacher’s hands. I teach educators to think critically about the technology they bring into the classroom, the same way I teach kids and families to think critically about what their devices, games, and apps want from them.
